(U) Military Headquarters and Space Commands


(U) A wide range of DoD organizations provide leadership and perform vital support functions necessary to ensure space operations are successful.

(U) The Military Headquarters and Space Commands manage space operations and critical space assets to promote optimum effectiveness for the warfighter. It is a complete infrastructure of test and evaluation activities which design, demonstrate, and test new and improved space systems. Test facilities are maintained to support the development of new aerospace vehicles and weapons. The space support staff educates newly assigned military personnel on their functions, the capabilities of space systems, and potential applications for future space operations.
