Overview (U):

(U) The purpose of Radiant STORM is to demonstrate the technical feasibility of using Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) technology to provide a vary large bandwidth simplex broadcast, for both data and video, to support remote naval forces. Radiant STORM is jointly sponsored by CNO, Navy TENCAP, and the NRO's Operational Support Office (OSO).
