(U) Super High Frequency (SHF) Ground Segment Terminals


(U) The MILSATCOM SHF user equipment category addresses the SHF ground segment terminals for vital national security communications including worldwide command and control, crisis management, and the relay of intelligence and early warning data. SHF user equipment terminals include both mobile and fixed terminals. SHF communications are provided over both DoD-owned and leased satellite systems.
