(U) Surveillance


(U) The Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Surveillance category consists of those systems which provide early-warning detection and reporting of ballistic missile attacks. The systems included in this category provide early warning detection of attacks against the Continental United States (CONUS) and attacks against deployed forces. These surveillance systems also provide essential cueing data to ballistic missile defense systems.
